The informational sessions will discuss GeneMatch, a program that has been developed by the Alzheimer’s Prevention Initiative for individuals aged 55-75 years with normal memory and thinking abilities who may be interested in participating in Alzheimer’s research studies. We will also discuss the latest in prevention research and clinical trial opportunities that are available at our institute. In this program, learn about the different domains of your brain, such as cognition, language, attention, visuospatial, executive function, and, of course, memory. A New Approach: Offering H.O.P.E. to Dementia Caregivers

In this program, learn about the different domains of your brain, such as cognition, language, attention, visuospatial, executive function, and, of course, memory. By starting with a discussion of the difference between “normal aging” & something more serious & a self-assessment, the Brain Health Program can act as your personal trainer by teaching you activities to aid in strengthening domains that you want to improve. Also reviewed are lifestyle factors related to brain health. This class is intended for cognitively normal adults. Free but registration is required. Limited to 20 participants.
