Help community members understand what dementia is, how it affects people and how we each can make a difference in the lives of people living with dementia. In this program, learn about the different domains of your brain, such as cognition, language, attention, visuospatial, executive function, and, of course, memory. Memory Cafe at Tempe Public Library

As part of Dementia Friendly Tempe, the Memory Café provides a social and resource place for people living with memory loss and their caregivers. Each Monday from 9:30am – 12N, participants meet in the Tempe Learning Center (lower level). Caregivers participate in an education/support session while people with memory loss actively participate in a cognitive engagement program. Medications: What are they and what can I expect?
